Cherry`s Sunset Family Restaurant in Polk

My experience at the Cherry's Sunset Family Dinner was Excellent! The service was great. The meal was excellent & delicious. I am sorry I didn't that any pictures of my hamburger. But believe me it was done just the way I wanted it. I had the 2 by 4 hamburger, it's 2 thick burger patties with bacon, tomatoes, lettuce & 2 types of cheese slices. It was definitely my type of hamburger..I also want to try their chili it was also very good. For dessert I had the coconut & pineapple cake..it was definitely delicious. This is about the third time I was here eating at this dinner, I was never disappointed in there service or food quality. I promise next time pictures. Went in for breakfast with my mother and her husband. They had been here before and loved it. I had French Toast, Slice of Ham, two over-hard eggs, and crispy potatoes with onions. Meal was very good. The server was entertaining and efficient. Would recommend.

Cherries...ah Cherries...a wonderful place. Definitely go there. Order the skillet breakfast, and then make an appointment with your cardiologist.My one complaint: you could not order any cherries with your omelette. That's confusing.

The Salmon dinner was delicious. It was cooked to perfection! Portion sizes were generous.

Great food at a good price.

I had their Meat Loaf dinner. They said it was home made....it looked as though it had been sitting for some and it tasted terrible. The coffee was old....I managed to drink the first cut... I asked for a second one but you could tell it was from an old pot. I was going to return it all...but didn't want to cause a ster...I just about got sick over it. Not a good taste experience. My dinner was horrible. I noticed a change in quality since they updated the place....and put the Bar in. Prices went up and quality went down...

Would have been nice to have wedge of lemon with my Ice tea. Most places do. Would have also been nice to have some lemon wedges. For the sea food I had for dinner. . And suggestion a roll would have been nice to have on the side. . Check your beans before you serve. Some can be very stringy . Flavor can be good but can't eat if you can't chew. Flavor of seafood was alright. I will try again in future.😊

Food is terrific The wings are huge as was our burgers. The 2x4 is so delicious and filling. Nice place in a nice area friendly staff.

My husband and I stopped here during our drive through on a stormy and cold day. We were waited by very nice and attentive women. The food seemed to come very quickly and it was all very delicious and affordable. It’s a shame we won’t be able to stop by again because we live out of state, but I commend the staff for wonderful service all around!

Two kids along. We were sat in the bar which was dirty and cold. Also club music with profanity not appropriate for a family place. Waitress was nice. Food was so so. At least I can say we tried it out.

We came in for breakfast. I had the country scramble with scrapple and my fiance ordered sides of homefries, bacon and sausage links. The scramble was excellent. All the veggies and potatoes were cooked through. His homefries looked crisped and browned a bit. Not burnt at all. The food came out real fast. They used regular dishes and silverware instead of paperware. The server was very nice and friendly. Masks are optional in there too. Great food and great experience. Will be back

This diner in Kresgeville, Pa on Rt.209 is a popular stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have stopped here many times and always leave here quite satisfied. Fast friendly service, excellent food.

We showed up after 8pm and they close at 9. They did not rush us and our food was piping hot and delicious! We look forward to returning.

The food here is great and the stuffed Pepper soup is delicious!! Matt our server was on point as well! Great food, great service I would eat here again for sure!

Had my daughter’s confirmation party at Cherry’s yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful. Service was great and the food was delicious and the room was beautiful. I would definitely recommend them for any party.

A little pricey for a diner, but danng the NY strip steak is amazing!

Had a great breakfast here. Food was better than a standard diner and the service was friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend it and would come back next time I'm in the area.

First time there with my wife and son after going to Country Junction for furniture shopping. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Staff friendly and food service really good 👍👍👍👍👍. Had the cheeseburger deluxe with fresh sliced tomatoes, wide had the Rachel and my son had the kid thing "chicken strips". All without any issues. Will definitely be back. A little bit a ride from Pocono Lake

My friends and I went to this restaurant over the weekend and ever since the new owners took over... this place has turned into a dump. To start with, their credit card machine was down which wouldn't be so bad since they have an ATM but 20 minutes into our dining the ATM went out of order. So we had to go to the nearest bank to come back and actually pay them for our food. On top of this, their back bathroom was broken... like my friend got locked in the bathroom and luckily another member of our party was there to help her get out. When we told the ladies at the front about it they laughed and said they knew about it and that's why they didn't send customers there. If you know about a problem you should let your patrons know with a sign and the workers there need a lesson in customer service to not laugh in their patrons face with a clearly frustrating situation. We will NEVER be back!

Great place. We stopped in on our recent visit from S.C. to visit family in Kresgeville. Food was great, especially the creamed chip beef! Thank you again you made our visit complete!

I grew up near here, and whenever I come back home for a visit I stop at Cherry's. Yummy diner food with a small-town feel. It's worth a visit.

My wife and I enjoyed the environment and our server was great...everything was delicious...especially the pork and sauerkraut...homemade soup speechless....don't forget to try their honey dipped chicken...yummy in our dummies...will return soon

A nice little local diner. Really cozy, with friendly and attentive staff. They had TVs on the wall that were playing food network. The furniture was a little old and worn-looking, but not broken. I came for lunch and ordered the chicken cheesesteak. It was good, but the chicken was a bit dry. The fries were really good, as was the soup of the day (creamy potato). Overall a nice place.

I have family in the area and whenever we visit them, we always go here for lunch. It's really the only option in the area. The staff is so friendly. One of the waitresses even gave my 10 month old a stuffed animal that she won out of the crane machine game. The food is alright. Last time I went, I got a panini and it was pretty bland. But for the price, I'm not going to complain!

This place was great at one time. We had to find someone for check. Never was asked if we wanted more to drink or if we needed anything. Mashed potatoes were cold. Burger burnt. No cheese. We waited over 40 mins. Until they get new ownrship worked out, stay away

Gone here many times, used to be a good place But we ordered food for pick up recently and it was terrible, food was very soggy bread looked and felt microwaved. The bacon on the burgers was dead. Fries were wet and felt under cooked Like the oil in the fryer hasn’t been changed.will miss this old staple.

Good diner food. Air conditioning was cranked when we go so make sure to bring your sweater even in the summer. French dip sandwich was pieces of prime rib which was good but only after I picked though it to get rid of all of the fat.
